What Treats can I feed my Hedgehog?

There are lots of treats you can feed your hedgehog, but some can be bad for your hedgehog. It's important to be educated on what kinds

of treats hedgehogs can have, how often and mostly, how much is too much.  Below, I will list all of that information.

Mealworms, Superworms, Dubia Roaches, Crickets, Waxworms

Mealworms, Superworms, Dubia Roaches, Crickets and Waxworms are fantastic insect treats for hedgehogs. Hedgehogs love these insects! Although these insects should always be fed in moderation since they  have a huge fat content, and too many insects could cause Fatty Liver.  I recommend feeding 2 insects a day, but if you're hedgehog is a bit chunky, limit it to 2 insects every other day.

Strawberries, Apples, Bananas, Mango, Blueberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, Peaches, Pears, Watermelon

All of these healthy and delicious fruits are great options, it can be given everyday. Stay away from citrusy fruits.
